This type of analysis is frequently used to know the behavior of a structure subjected to seismic loads. A modal analysis is first performed to determine the natural frequency of the assembly. Then, for a specific territory, it is possible to analyze the behavior of structure under the influence of cyclic loading. The values are summarized in the form of a seismic spectrum. This spectral response can be superimposed on each vibration modes to extract the stresses in assembly.
